on celebrate significant dates at a tank: weddings, days of holidays.

About 3-4 years ago in Morozovsk in anniversary of release of the area from fascists I met two of those who were saved from burning by fascists by our reconnaissance group. Fighting front days recured to the memory again, those who are not present with us who gave life for the world, for our life, for liberation of the Rostov region from aggressors were remembered.

This year 60 years to the Battle of Stalingrad were executed. Thousands of books, scientific monographs and articles it is devoted to this decisive event of World War II. It would seem, everything is investigated and described, on days and minutes. And nevertheless...

Among hundreds of regiments — shooting, artillery, tank, aviation, - the summary, created from cadets Krasnodar, Vinnytsia, Grozny, Zhytomyr, Rostov, Stalingrad, Ordzhonikidzevsky military colleges battling near Stalingrad, special, tragic destiny at ten. The boys who were not in time to become lieutenants in the summer of 1942 were stopped into the Don steppe closing breaks of tank corps of armies PaulyusaiGota.

In one edition about the Battle of Stalingrad it is not mentioned a summary cadet regiment of the Krasnodar infantry school, its heroic and tragic fighting way.... In June, 1942 the chief of school major general D.I. Gudkov and the military commissar - the battalion commissioner Myakishev received the order - to create a summary regiment numbering about 3500 people as a part of three battalions and four batteries from staff of teachers and cadets - two mortar (82- and 120-millimeter) and two gun (45- and 76-millimeter) - and divisions of service.

The major I.I. Lysak was appointed the chief of staff of a regiment, the chief of artillery - the captain G.K. Antonenko. Among cadets was many our fellow countrymen evacuated in the fall of the 41st into the North Caucasus.

On July 9, 1942 the 7th and 1st reserve armies are renamed by the directive of the Rate of General headquarters into the 62nd and 64th general armies. On July 12 the Stalingrad front which structure included these armies is created. On July 17 summary cadet regiments received the order to come to a boundary of the Chir and Tsimla Rivers, providing expansion of shooting connections of the front.

On July 23 the 6th field army of Friedrich Paulues began offensive at Stalingrad. the 14th tank corps of the baron Gustav von Witersgejm a ram from 250 tanks cut defense of the Soviet troops to the south of Kletskaya, on a joint of the 192nd and 33rd Guards rifle divisions... To the aid of guardsmen-paratroopers (the 33rd it was created on the basis of the 2nd airborne case) on the night of July 24 from x. Marvin-sky that at Surovikino, through Dobrinka on x. Horns the summary cadet regiment of the Krasnodar infantry school acted.

From a march the first and third battalions of captains G.S. Sturua and G.V. Kalayev were engaged to action, trying to beat off the state farm Kopanya occupied the day before by Germans and to close a gap in defense of the 33rd division. All attacks broke the massive raids of 50 diving Yu-87 bombers which arranged an infernal carousel over the cadets who were not in time to be dug round. Intelligence agents of lieutenants V.N. Azarov and P.K. Aksenov counted in state farm Kopanya a congestion to fifty tanks and twenty five three-axis trucks with infantry. Fight lasted three days. On July 26 the state farm was cleared of the opponent and the thinned cadet regiment was fixed at a boundary: Berezovy Canal, height 198.3, state farm Kopanya, occupying the center of fighting orders of a division of A.I. Utvenko. Interacting with guardsmen of the 91st regiment and gunners, cadets during this infinitely long day, July 26, beat off seventeen fierce attacks. Before defensive positions of a division 120 padded and burned-down tanks, a half of which was put out of action by calculations of anti-tank guns, stiffened. Only in a hollow at state farm Kopanya remained 513 German corpses. Losses in manpower and the technician both at cadets, and at a division in general were big.

27 July the second battalion of cadets under command of the first lieutenant A.I. Serov supported the attack of the 186th shooting regiment which arrived to strengthening of a division and restored a first line of defense on the site Berezovy Canal (4 km to the south x. Kalmy-

k), northern slopes of height 198.3. During the next day the German aircraft literally terrorized cadets, chasing even single vehicles on which to a front line brought ammunition, and back to the back took out wounded. All night long with

28 for July 29 the cadets residents of Krasnodar beat off the attacks of the full-blooded grenadierial battalion supported by 33 tanks and held the taken positions. Within a week, persistent fights did not stop. Lacking ammunition, our soldiers used 19 German machine guns taken in fights with many thousands stocks of cartridges. Volunteers moved forward for a first line, under the burned-down tanks and on anonymous skyscrapers equipped machine-gun nests and conducted a battle to the last boss of "mashinengever", without allowing the German infantry to our main positions. on August 4th the summary cadet regiment destroyed about 800 soldiers and officers, 5 armored cars and 7 cargo cars are burned. The enemy aircraft, hunger and thirst exhausted. Is there was nothing. Cooked and ate wheat. For each kettle of water to death fought with Germans who with machine guns guarded wells. And in hot air - a sticky and toshnotny putrid smell...

On August 8 in 19 00 on the radio set the order on an exit from an environment of the 33rd division of guards and parts given it to the Region of Silkina Balka was received from the army headquarters, x. Plesistovsky, where it was necessary to be a part of group of the major general Novikov. On August 9 about three thousand escaped soldiers of the 33rd division with 19 guns and 13 light tanks broke through an environment ring, having lost over three hundred people. Two

columns moved on the German backs to Don. The opponent threw by cars to a regiment of infantry and tanks on interception and became stronger at heights with marks 170.9, 131.3, 134.5. By the dawn on August 10 the remains of soldiers paratroopers and cadets were surrounded in Karagachev's beam. Fight lasted from 5 in the morning to 11 in the day while there were cartridges and shells, then the German tanks began to iron the small, hastily dug out okopchik and to press survived. In a month Konstantin Simonov wrote down the story by the divisional commander of paratroopers colonel Utvenko-"Resisted up to the end. I five times recharged a Mauser. Sekley from automatic machines. Several commanders shot themselves. It was killed to one thousand people, but life was sold expensively. _tanka beat us in an emphasis."

The few escaped fighters and commanders small groups, on 5 - 10 people, made the way nights in the direction of Kumovka. By August 16 120 soldiers of the 33rd Guards which concentrated in the settlement of Prudboy were transported through Don. From a summary cadet regiment of the Krasnodar infantry school no more than thirty people escaped.

The fighting way of a regiment - was only eighteen fiery days short. Cadets up to the end fulfilled the military duty - their blood fastened the base of the Stalingrad victory. At the Volgograd state university the Museum of cadet regiments is created. But it is a little information on the Krasnodar infantry school, the staff of the Krasnodar infantry school is worthy the best place in the Museum and in memory national. Low bow by it - to the earth to which they laid down, having kept it for us - descendants.
