On April 5, 2009 70 years since the birth of the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, the doctor of medical sciences, the honored worker of science of the Russian Federation, the winner of the State award in science and technology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the board member of the All-Russian society of hygienists, member of editorial boards of the leading medical magazines of Russia, full member of the World medical academy of Albert Schweitzer, head of the department of hygiene and medicine of work of the Kazan state medical university professor Nail Habibullovich Amirov were executed.

In the country and abroad the academician N.H. Amy ditch is known as the outstanding scientist in the field of work medicine as the talented organizer of the higher medical education. He actively supports modernization of the preventive direction of medicine which cornerstone the shift of priorities from diagnostics for determination of level of health in combination with the forecast of its decrease and also active restoration of the psychophysiological reserves which are providing balance of an organism with the environment and not allowing the person to a disease state has to be.

There are all bases to carry the academician N.H. Amirov to number of those scientists-hygienists who can be considered theorists of rather new discipline — work medicine. He accurately formulated the following characteristics distinguishing occupational health from work medicine namely: "First, if an object (subject) of occupational health is work of the person, then a work medicine subject — the person in the course of work. Being an uncompromising adherent of the preventive beginnings of medicine, N.H. Amirov is convinced that the work medicine, along with clinic of internal diseases, has to become (becomes) a doctoring basis. The medicine of work will develop at future doctor along with clinical hygienic thinking. The scientist is convinced that the burning issues of sa-nitarno-demographic, medico-social and medico-ecological character put forward teaching preventive medicine on an end of the XX century in number of priorities in the course of training of the doctor. He considers that the successful solution of the specified task is possible only in case dodiplomny preparation includes the following four directions — hygienic, ecological, valeological and humanitarian.

Having created school of medicine of work in Kazan, N.H. Amirov defined its main lines: an integrated approach to studying problems of medicine of work (use of methods of immunology, electrophysiology, psychophysiology, toxicology, etc.); kliniko-hygienic orientation of scientific developments; creation and implementation of the concept of industrial ecology (risk of influence of factors of small and medium intensity, psychoecology, donozologi-chesky approach, management of risk, mutagen and cancerogenic production danger, etc.). He is an author more than 400 scientific works, including monographs, methodical recommendations, letters and health regulations. Under its management 10 doctor's and 29 master's theses are defended. The scientific research in the field of work medicine executed by N.H. Amirov's school for the last 40 years was directed to studying a wide range of current problems. Without stopping at the numerous works devoted to various questions of medicine of work in the separate industries of production (mechanical engineering, chemical industry, motor transport, etc.), we will allocate only the most fundamental of them having great theoretical and applied value.

N.H. Amy ditch and his pupils prof. K.K. Yakhin, edging. medical sciences of S.I. Kuznetsov showed that the increasing intellectual tension in a number of modern productions leads to mental disadaptation and, therefore, demands psychohygienic interventions. "Ecological psychiatry — N.H. Amirov emphasizes — I consider the major tool for the solution of many current problems of modern medicine of work. And, undoubtedly, causes content that its formation and the development were contributed by the researches conducted at the Kazan medical university".

The academician N.H. Amirov by right is considered one of founders of studying the state of health and assessment of risk factors in work of the heads of a different rank occupied in industrial production. These researches were begun with it in the 70th years of the last century during intensive construction and operation of the Kama automobile complex and became the subject of its doctoral dissertation. Results of long-term work in this scientific direction found reflection in the monograph "Work and Health of Heads" (2002). In the book it is convincingly proved that the marked contingent is the most threatened professional group concerning IBS, vascular damages of a brain and a hypertension. In this monograph and a number of methodical recommendations of federal and republican levels the system organizational, sanitary and hygienic 618 is offered

and treatment-and-prophylactic actions for decrease in incidence and mortality of managers of production. At department and today researches of a role of a working stress in emergence of violations of health (prof. L.M. Fatkhutdinov), operator work continue (an edging. medical sciences M.N. Rusin) and production ergonomics (edging. medical sciences of V.N. Krasnoshchekov).

Results of studying factors of a working environment and the labor process connected with use of information technologies and also anthropogenic electromagnetic fields became a powerful contribution of hygienic school of N.H. Amirov to domestic medicine of work. During the researches (the prof. L.M. Fatkhutdinov, etc.) it was for the first time established that work with the computer leads to the expressed violations of vegetative regulation. This cycle of researches was highly appreciated by the European experts in the field of work medicine, is noted by an award of the European academy for young scientists and also supported by a grant of the Flemish government.

Researches of the academician N.H. Amirov and the prof. I. D. Sitdikovoy were the basis for the onkogigiyenichesky direction of preventive medicine. They developed methodology and criteria for evaluation of a kantserogenoopasnost on the basis of which ranging of the branches of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in this sphere of production activity was carried out. And again the scientist brilliantly shows the ability to bring theoretical results to widespread practical introduction. On the basis of researches of risk factors of oncological danger the state program "Genetic safety of the population of the Republic of Tatarstan" (1999) was developed, and this aspect of an environmental problem found reflection in the state anticarcinogenic program adopted by the government of RT.

A lot of things are made by school of the academician N.H. Amirov for the solution of hygienic problems of health protection of the children's population (professors A.H Yarullin and A.B. Gallyamov, candidates of medical sciences of D.I. Sadykov, E.M. Volodin). As a result of researches of this direction, bases of the forecast of incidence of the children's population in the changing sanitary situation of the large city are developed. It is established that in the presence of professional vrednost at parents the negative effect of xenobiotics is shown already at a pre-natal stage. The exponential effect of pollution of the air environment on reserves of health of children of preschool age is shown; methodological approaches to studying allergic pathology of children in connection with influence of factors of the external environment are proved; an assessment of immune shifts at impact of hazardous substances on the child's organism is given. These

researches are generalized in the monograph "Ecology and Allergopatologiya of Children" and became a theoretical basis for development of the organism of foodstuff of a vinibis stimulating protective forces that was noted by the State award RT in science and technology.

PROFESSOR ALEXANDER FEDOROVICH KRASNOV

On June 21, 2009 80 years since the birth of Alexander Fedorovich Krasnov — the famous erudite traumatologist-orthopedist, the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, the honored worker of science of Russia, the winner of the State award and an award of the Government of the Russian Federation, the honourable citizen of Samara, the honorary rector of the Samara state medical university were executed.

A.F. Krasnov was born in the village of Aleksandrovka of the Ulyanovsk region in a large country family. His childhood was the share of difficult years of the Great Patriotic War when to it, as well as most of his peers, it was necessary to work in the back, ensuring a victory at the front. After leaving school the young man entered the Kuibyshev medical institute from which he graduated with honors. All work of Alexander Fedorovich is connected with institute where he passed a way from the clinical intern to the rector. Its formation as traumatologist-orthopedist took place under the influence of the pupil R.R. Vreden, professor A.P. Evstropov at department of the hospital surgery directed by the outstanding surgeon professor A.M. Amy-nevym. In 1958 the young graduate protected candidate, and in 1963 — the doctoral dissertation. In 1966 he organized department of traumatology, orthopedics and field surgery which he directed till 2003

Alexander Fedorovich's talent as organizer of the higher school revealed at young age. In 34 years he became the vice rector of the Kuibyshev medical institute, and in 38 years already headed it for 31 year. All this time it actively worked on expansion of institute and turned it from odnofakultetno-go (medical) into the university at which train experts in the field of medicine, pharmacy, clinical psychology, 4 research institutes work. For a special contribution to development of higher education institution the academic council of the university elected A.F. Krasnov the honorary rector. The scientist published more than 470 scientific works among which there are 12 textbooks and the managements, 2 reference books, 6 monographs, 9 collections of scientific works, 29 inventions. Under the leadership of the academician A.F. Krasnov the Samara scientific and pedagogical school of traumatologists-orthopedists was created. He prepared 63 pupils — 18 doctors and 52 candidates of medical sciences. His many pupils manage departments, traumatologic offices of large medical institutions. He transferred to the most talented pupil, the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, professor G.P. Kotelnikov the guide of the university and department.

The tendinous and muscular plasticity in traumatology and orthopedics became the main scientific direction developed by A.F. Krasnov and his pupils. More than 15 years Alexander Fedorovich worked as the expert of surgical section of advisory council in medicine WACA of Russia, headed over 20 years Kuibyshev (then Samara) office of Fund of the world, left with a world mission to dozens of the countries of the planet. Scientific and public work of the scientist is extraordinary many-sided: from 1991 to 1997 he is the president of association of traumatologists and orthopedists of Russia, and from 1989 to 2006 — traumatologists-orthopedists of the Samara region, since 1998 till present — the expert -
